MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Josh Harris is the Owner/Instructor of SparTac. Josh served 8 years in the US Army as a Paratrooper with the 37th Engineer Battalion (Combat Airborne) and was stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC and Ft. Carson, Colorado with a Sapper Company in the 1st BDE Combat Team for 4th Infantry Division. During Josh’s time in the Army, he served two tours to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. After serving in the Army, he returned home with his wife to East Texas to raise their children.
After returning home, Josh never lost his desire to consistently and proficiently train for his family’s safety. As a family man, Josh identified the gap in home & self-defense training needed for the average person to keep themselves, their families and homes safe.
He started Spartac, a firearm training and gunsmith service that provides LTC/CHL, USCCA & NRA training courses and private/custom training to the East Texas area. Based in Beckville, our training courses are taught by Josh with over 15 years of Firearm and Explosive training. At Spartac, we believe and are committed to protecting our 2nd amendment and right for all US and Texas citizens to be able to protect themselves and their families.
